Melbourne Food & Wine Festival- The Night Sparkles

Monday, March 29, 2010
Recently, we got a call from acclaimed chef Andrew Blake (Blakes, Stella, Tonic, Cafe Kanis, Fanny's, Glo Glo's...) to order some garlic and herbs from us for the regional Macedon Ranges wine dinner he and his elite Blakes Feast company were catering for.

Andrew Blake's Angelica O.F. goodies...

This is what he made with our produce for "The Night Sparkles", a Melbourne Food & Wine Festival
event at Eliza Park premier Victorian thoroughbred stud near Woodend...

...mmm...mmm...sounds alright don't it?

Andrew Blake is no 'flash in the pan' celebrity chef, being one of Melbourne's best chefs for the past 30 years.

Andrew Blake

Back in his past life as a chef, Tim worked with Andrew at Cafe Kanis and has genuinely fond memories of the experience and what he learnt from Andrew about food, A-grade ingredients and using them well. It's a piece of the 'history mosaic' that informs our passion for what we do at Angelica Organic Farm.
